Here is a picture of Olivia during our ultrasound today. Many times throughout our pregnancy, we watched Olivia suck her thumb. In this shot, it looks like she is about to do it again.

We saw some different views today, and we know one thing for sure... she has very chubby cheeks and a double chin! She did a good job growing for us, she has consistently been in the 80th percentile for growth, and just a week ago she was weighing in at 6 pounds 12 ounces.

I think the over/under on her weight tomorrow is going to be 7 pounds 4 ounces.

We Have Been Given The Green Light

Olivia's lungs are mature and we are set for our C-Section April 1st!

We will be arriving at Overlake Hospital at 7:00am and the C-Section is scheduled for 9:00am. If there are no urgent births that bump us off schedule, they will start around 9:00am and the procedure will last 30-40 minutes.

Kiersten cannot eat or drink anything after midnight tonight. She is resting right now after a long day. In less than 12 hours, we will be heading to the hospital for our big day!

Lung Development Test

We are at Overlake Hospital and Kiersten just got done with the test to determine if Olivia's lungs are mature enough for a birth tomorrow.
We will know the results in approximately two hours. If everything checks out okay, we will have a C-section tomorrow morning.
Stay tuned...
