Olivia is 18 months old today! She celebrated by eating Cheerios, watching Curious George, playing her new xylophone and doing everything in her power to avoid a nap. Olivia started talking a lot more this week. She is now repeating words we say as well as practicing people's names when she hears them. Her favorite words are George (Curious George, of course), moose, noodles, brush, bath, ball and down. The words cheese and grapes are in the works. She loves to make lion, dog, sheep and cow sounds but most of all, she loves to meow in as many ways as possible. Every inflection and volume level of "meow" is big at our house right now. Climbing is still her favorite activity but now she is big enough to do a lot of it at the playground. She can't get enough of playing at Whale Tail park. Olivia has a happy disposition and as the blog photos show, she is a smiley bug. We could have never imagined 18 months ago what a beautiful and bright light Olivia would bring to all of us.
